Job summary

Daktronics is offering a Personnel Operations Student internship in the Brookings, SD area. This role provides hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, records management, compliance, HR systems, reporting, and process improvement while working closely with mentors.

Ideal candidates are college students, pursuing a business-related degree, with strong academics and a willingness to learn in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in at least 12 credits.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Business, Consumer Behavior, Economics, or related field.
• Sophomore or junior year with GPA 2.5+.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administrative and operational processes across multiple functions.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, document management, and record maintenance.
• Learn and utilize business systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools to support operational needs.
• Prepare reports and communications for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with customer, employee, or internal team requests by researching information and providing timely support.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and complete work accurately and on schedule.
• Gain exposure to areas such as project coordination, administration, operations support, process improvement, and business analytics.
• Build an understanding of Daktronics products, practices, procedures, and business operations through hands-on experience and mentorship.
