Job summary

Daktronics seeks a Personnel Operations Student to gain hands-on experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee records, compliance, HR systems, reporting, and process improvement. This paid, part-time role offers mentorship and exposure to multiple teams while preparing for future full-time opportunities.

You will work approximately 15–20 hours/week during the school year and up to 40 hours/week in the summer, with preference for candidates near Brookings, SD, and eligibility to work in the

Qualifications

• Student registered in at least 12 credits
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Consumer Behavior, Economics, Entrepreneurial Studies, or related field
• Sophomore or junior year
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher
• unofficial transcripts required

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administrative and operational processes across multiple functions
• Data entry, reporting, document management, and record maintenance
• Learn and use business systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools
• Prepare reports and communications for internal stakeholders
• Assist with customer, employee, or internal team requests with timely support
• Own assigned projects and complete work on schedule
• Gain exposure to project coordination, administration, operations support, and analytics
• Build understanding of Daktronics products, practices, and processes through mentorship
