Job summary

Daktronics in Dallas, Texas offers a Sales Intern position designed for full‑time students pursuing a related Bachelor's degree. You will shadow a professional sales team, demonstrate products to customers, attend trade shows, and develop leads while rotating through production to gain manufacturing exposure.

You will participate in intern events and capstone presentations within a supportive mentorship program.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program related to sales, business, communication, economics, sports management, entrepreneurial studies, marketing or engineering.
• Able to take a semester off if needed to complete the internship.
• Willing to commit to at least 40 hours per week; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn sales strategies including inside sales, B2B, service sales and advertising sales.
• Shadow our professional sales team and demonstrate products to customers.
• Visit customers and attend trade shows; give customer presentations.
• Conduct research and generate/track leads; learn sales operation processes.
• Contribute to the Daktronics Intern Group (events, capstone presentations).
• Experience manufacturing through production rotation; build professional relationships.
