Job summary

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) is seeking a Leadership and Development Manager for Tribal Operations. This role leads onboarding, talent management, and leadership development efforts across SMSC, partnering with HR and enterprise leaders to identify talent gaps and build leadership curricula.

You will drive the creation of training content, manage dashboards, and apply AI tools to optimize learning operations while ensuring compliance and effective workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, communication, and administration of onboarding, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and learning initiatives.
• Partner with Tribal Operations leaders and HR Business Partners on talent gaps and promotions.
• Build training content and courses to support professional development across SMSC.
• Lead regular talent summary reports and dashboards for leadership and HR partners.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline training operations and personalize learning experiences.
