Job summary

Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) is seeking a Talent Management Specialist to support performance management, leadership course development, succession planning, early career programs, onboarding, and program administration across SMSC and its Tribal Operations entities.

You will deliver training, generate reports, maintain learning content, and drive continuous improvement in people processes with a focus on collaboration and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 3+ years in talent management related to leadership training and reporting.
• Experience in organizational design, change management, performance management.
• Experience delivering leadership training and building curriculums.
• Strong writing and ability to create content across multiple mediums.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and continuous improvement of talent assessment and development programs.
• Develop, co-lead, and deliver new hire onboarding and integration activities.
• Coordinate talent reviews, training sessions, and development events.
• Manage program timelines, logistics, and internal communications.
• Support early career onboarding/offboarding for interns and events.
• Provide reports on talent metrics for HR leaders and decision makers.
• Develop and maintain internal content including job aids and guides.
• Maintain leadership courses in learning management systems and communicate updates.
