Job summary

• 8+ years in editorial and production leadership, or proven success in recruiting top network on-air talent.
• Strong understanding of news programming across linear, streaming, social and digital channels.
• Excellent research, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a diverse pipeline of on‑air, digital‑first and multi‑platform talent.
• Negotiate contract renewals for NBC News on‑air contributors and manage recruitment pipelines.
• Evaluate talent through interviews, reels, and editorial exercises.
• Coordinate with scheduling and editorial teams on assignments and coverage plans.
• Monitor hiring trends and emerging formats across streaming, social, podcasts, and newsletters.
• Prepare materials to support the full recruitment process.
• Collaborate across teams to align talent with coverage strategies.
