Job summary

James Madison University invites applications for a Talent Development Intern in the TD department. The part-time wage position works an average of 15 hours per week over the school year (32 weeks) with no benefits.

The role supports AP Faculty, classified staff, and wage employees through events, program evaluations, content development, and marketing support. Successful candidates will be enrolled students at JMU for Fall 2026 and Winter 2027, with strong research, writing, and analytical

Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a student at JMU for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters.
• Experience with research and synthesis of information.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning Talent Development events (Mid-level Management Institute, Mid-level Management Conference, etc.).
• Assist with evaluation of programs.
• Develop and possibly deliver content for training materials.
• Support the team by staging and resetting training rooms.
• Prepare handouts and assist with marketing efforts.
• Review training evaluations and offer recommendations.
