Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Training and Talent Development professional to coordinate and monitor company-wide training initiatives and maintain training records. You will support organizational talent development strategies and communicate progress across departments.

The role requires at least an associate degree or equivalent experience, plus a year of related work and proficiency with Excel. The position will involve scheduling and coordinating both in-person and virtual trainings and

Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Coordinates and monitors company-wide training initiatives by keeping training records up-to-date and communicates training progress. Coordinates and hosts training events to support organization's talent development strategies. Coordinates the educational opportunities that are offered throughout the organization while maintaining training requirements for those programs.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

• Maintains electronic database of employee trainings, certifications, sets up and Supports Trainings (i.e. Arc Flash, Crane Certifications, Infrared, OSHA, etc.).
• Enters and maintains records of employee trainings that pertain to certifications/licenses in HRIS, other requested database or a Learning Management System (via EIB loads).
• Coordinates employee training needs by monitoring and reporting on completed training.
• Contacts employees to receive a copy of employees' certifications, track expiration dates and work with employees on renewing their certifications.
• Tracks, maintains, and purchases training materials from outside vendors.
• Coordinates, schedule and oversees in-person training and virtual training events.
• Coordinates the training while it is occurring to help ensure the training stays on schedule.
• Maintains training materials including binders, kits, jump drives and discs.
• Distributes training to field personnel upon request or as needed.
• Registers participants for outside training programs.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Related Associates degree or equivalent combinations of education and experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A minimum of one year of comparable experience required. Proficiency with Excel.

We are able to consider candidates who hold valid, independent work authorization (e.g., U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or other valid, non-expired work authorization). $24.46 - $33.64 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
