Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Regional HSE Manager to champion our safety culture across projects in the United States. You will guide site teams, verify HSE programs are followed, and coach leaders toward safer, more efficient work with data-driven examples.

You’ll partner with Operations, Learning & Development, and Quality to implement changes, communicate risks to client HSE professionals, and travel up to 75% to support projects nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a construction safety leadership role or operations.
  • Electrical safety knowledge and renewable energy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess Blattner safety culture and verify HSE Programs are followed, enforced, and consistent on projects.
  • Coach project leaders toward a stronger safety culture and safer methods.
  • Identify unsafe work plans and ensure changes by working with Operations and Quality.
  • Communicate with client HSE professionals on Blattner HSE performance.
  • Travel up to 75% to support projects nationwide.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

The Regional HSE Manager is a champion of the Blattner safety culture and our Blattner Safety Program. Serves as a health, safety, and environmental (HSE) expert and consultant to the project site teams and communicates with client HSE professionals on the overall Blattner HSE performance. Using data and real Blattner examples, the HSE Manager assesses and coaches project leaders toward building a stronger safety culture.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

Assesses Blattner safety culture and verifies that Blattner HSE Programs are followed, enforced, and consistent on projects to help ensure site teams are safe while delivering a quality product in an efficient manner. Acts as a technical expert identifying where work plans do not address safety and ensures the necessary changes occur by working directly with Operations, Learning and Development, the Lean Advantage Team and the Quality Department to share and develop work plans into content that demonstrates the safest methods or processes. Partners with site management in the technical training and development of leadership personnel in safety by possessing a clear understanding of how the company operates in accordance with the Blattner HSE Program. Communicates and advises site leadership and client HSE professionals on any current and potential jobsite exposures.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • A four-year degree in occupational safety, or related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a construction safety leadership role or operations.
  • Electrical safety knowledge and renewable energy experience preferred.

$133,847.00 - $194,078.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
