Job summary

Peak Toolworks in Jasper, IN is seeking a Talent Champion to own the employee experience—from recruiting and onboarding to engagement and employee relations—supporting a positive, high-performing culture.

You will lead full-cycle recruiting for U.S. positions, coordinate background checks, deliver onboarding, support benefits and leave programs, ensure compliance, and partner with payroll while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for all U.S. positions.
• Coordinate background checks and employment verifications.
• Deliver engaging onboarding and orientation experiences for new hires.
• Support Talent programs including benefits, leave administration, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state and local employment laws and Talent best practices.
• Review payroll for accuracy and partner with payroll teams; act as backup processor.
• Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and feedback analysis.
• Track and report Talent metrics to support business decisions.
• Partner with Operations on safety reviews and incident follow-ups.
• Coordinate outreach initiatives and enhance employer brand within the community.
• Support managers with employee relations and performance management.
