Job summary

Greystone Properties seeks a Director of Talent to own talent acquisition, development, and culture across a multi-state portfolio. This build role will design the hiring process, onboarding curriculum, leadership development track, and recognition programs, while managing outsourced HR and benefits partners.

The role emphasizes hands-on execution in Year One, with a focus on attracting and developing top talent to drive resident satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of progressive HR leadership across multi-site settings.
• Experience building or scaling a people function from the ground up.
• Experience designing structured interviews and training curricula for frontline teams.
• A track record of improving retention and engagement in a decentralized org.
• Experience managing outsourced HR, PEO, or benefits partners and service standards.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and multi-state employment law.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end talent acquisition across sites and corporate roles with a standardized process.
• Develop and implement onboarding curricula and training programs by role.
• Create a leadership development track and certifications aligned to the platform.
• Manage outsourced payroll, benefits, and compliance with service standards.
• Lead culture and recognition programs to improve retention and engagement.
• Produce workforce insights, dashboards, and KPI reporting portfolio-wide.
