Job summary

Furnitureland South, Inc. is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hourly recruiting across the organization.

You will source, screen, and coordinate candidates while delivering a positive candidate experience and maintaining accurate records in the ATS. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with on-site collaboration and remote work based on recruiting activity, requiring strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills to manage multiple openings

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, retail management, or related experience.
• Experience recruiting hourly or high-volume positions preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and recruiting technology platforms.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly positions across multiple departments.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and candidate profiles.
• Create and post job advertisements on various recruiting platforms.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community partnerships, and networking activities.
• Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Extend employment offers and assist with pre-employment processes as assigned.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects Furnitureland South's culture and values.
• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting records within the ATS.
• Track recruiting metrics including applicant flow, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies throughout the recruiting process.
• Assist with onboarding coordination and new hire communications as needed.
• Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with a combination of on-site and remote work, based on business needs and recruiting activity.

Essential Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly positions across multiple departments.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and candidate profiles.
• Create and post job advertisements on various recruiting platforms.

• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and recruiting outreach activities when needed.
• Support initiatives that enhance the company's employment brand in the marketplace.

Recruiting Administration

• Maintain accurate candidate and recruiting records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Track recruiting metrics including applicant flow, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness.
