Job summary

TRS is seeking a Talent Acquisition professional in Springfield, IL to lead recruitment strategy and execution across the system. You will collaborate with HR and hiring managers to attract top talent, build candidate pipelines, and drive inclusive hiring practices while tracking key metrics to improve time-to-fill and offer success.

The role requires strong communication, research, and relationship-building skills, plus experience in ATS management and campus or career events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business admin or related field; master’s preferred.
• Five years in talent acquisition with recruiting/sourcing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term talent strategies with HR Manager and hiring managers.
• Create and optimize recruitment processes with diversity focus.
• Manage candidate pipelines and internal/external recruiting.
• Analyze recruitment metrics and advise leaders on time to fill and offers.
• Coordinate with HR partners to align workforce needs with org goals.
• Source active and passive talent and build candidate pools.
• Maintain ATS records and prepare regular hiring progress reports.
• Collaborate on employer branding and recruitment events.
• Draft postings and TA communications; ensure inclusive postings.
