Job summary

SkyChefs is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 4-6 week temporary role to support the Talent Acquisition team in sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, screening interviews, and coordinating schedules.

The position is based at our Irving, TX corporate office with a hybrid work model (remote on Fridays). You will assist with multiple locations and help maintain candidate records in the ATS while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in recruiting or talent acquisition support.
• Experience reviewing resumes and screening candidates across multiple job families.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day recruiting activities across multiple locations.
• Review applications and resumes against hiring criteria; provide recommendations.
• Conduct initial candidate phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams.
• Maintain candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Assist with sourcing candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Post open positions and monitor applicant flow for timely reviews.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience with timely communication.
• Collaborate with TA team to prioritize requisitions and pipelines.
• Track recruiting metrics and report on candidate activity; ensure compliance.

Role Purpose Statement

We have an opportunity for a 30-45 day temporary role to provide recruiting and talent acquisition support to the Talent Acquisition team by assisting with candidate sourcing, application review, interview coordination, scheduling, and administrative recruiting activities. This temporary role will help support increased hiring activity. The roles will include Operations Leadership and administrative roles for our 35 field locations.

Location: at our Corporate office in Irving, TX

Work type: Hybrid - Remote on Friday.

Main Accountabilities

• Support the Talent Acquisition team with day-to-day recruiting activities across multiple locations.
• Review applications and resumes against established hiring criteria and provide candidate recommendations to recruiters.
• Conduct initial candidate phone screens to assess qualifications, experience, work authorization, compensation expectations, and availability.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
• Maintain candidate records and ensure accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system.
• Assist with sourcing candidates through online job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting channels.
• Support the posting of open positions and monitor applicant flow to ensure timely candidate review.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience through professional and timely communication.
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition team members to prioritize requisition activity and candidate pipelines.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide status updates on candidate activity as requested.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws throughout the recruitment process.
• Support recruiting projects and talent acquisition initiatives as assigned.
• Stay informed of recruiting best practices and market trends.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of recruiting, recruiting coordination, talent acquisition support, or related experience.
• Experience reviewing resumes and screening candidates across multiple job families. Operations leadership roles strongly preferred
• Experience supporting recruiting activities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
• Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed recruiting team.
• Experience supporting multi-location recruiting preferred.
