We are excited to offer the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist II to join our Talent Acquisition team supporting Aqua and Peoples Gas. This role supports our mission to provide essential resources across 9 states to 5 million people. Reporting to the Lead Talent Acquisition, the TA Specialist II will manage full lifecycle recruiting, primarily focusing on Call Center, Union & Non-Union, and Field Operations roles.

What You’ll Do
  1. Manage full lifecycle recruitment: from search strategy, pre-screening, interviewing, to presenting candidates, negotiating offers, and onboarding.
  2. Communicate effectively: maintain open, consistent communication with hiring managers, HR partners, and candidates to ensure a positive experience.
  3. Candidate sourcing: utilize passive and active channels including job postings, social media, networking, internet research, and cold calling.
  4. Conduct interviews: assess candidates' fit and motivation to ensure alignment with Essential’s culture.
  5. Support interview process: attend and facilitate interviews with managers and stakeholders as needed.
  6. Implement recruiting strategies: promote employer brand, manage candidate pipeline, source diversely, and oversee interview processes.
  7. Ensure compliance: adhere to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
What You’ll Bring
  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. 3-5 years of relevant experience
  3. 2+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume environments
  4. Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred)
  5. Knowledge of the utility industry is a plus
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  7. Self-sufficient with minimal supervision
  8. Strong organizational, customer service, and attention to detail skills
