The Kuwajima Lab of the University of Pittsburgh, Ophthalmology Department, is seeking candidates for a Research Technician II. Our group develops therapeutic strategies to prevent retinal ganglion cell death and promote retinal axon regeneration after optic nerve injury.
Qualifications: BS in Biology or Neuroscience, with 1+ year experience in a lab setting preferred.
Essential Functions:
Physical Effort: The employee may need to sit and work at a laboratory bench or cryostat for extended periods to prepare cryosections.
