Job summary

Upper Lakes Foods is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting initiatives across transportation, distribution, and other high-volume roles in the Midwest. You will source candidates, build partnerships with schools and community organizations, and support hiring managers to deliver timely, quality hires.

You will manage multiple openings, promote our employer brand, and create a professional candidate experience from first touch to offer.

Qualifications

2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or related experience.
Experience sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines.
Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple positions concurrently.
Experience recruiting drivers, warehouse/distribution, or high-volume roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop sourcing strategies and talent pipelines.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
Engage candidates through social media, job boards, referrals, schools, CDL programs, career fairs, and community partnerships.
Screen and interview applicants.
Coordinate interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
Build relationships with candidates, schools, workforce organizations, and community partners.
Promote Upper Lakes Foods and strengthen employer brand.
Track recruiting results and identify improvements.
Create a responsive, professional candidate experience.
