About the Job

DataOne is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across our growing U.S. operations. This role will manage the hiring process from sourcing and screening through interviews and offer coordination, helping identify qualified candidates for positions across engineering, construction, data center operations, skilled trades, and corporate functions. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and create a positive and professional experience for candidates.

This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, takes initiative, and is comfortable managing multiple hiring priorities. Beyond day-to-day recruitment, you'll help represent DataOne at career fairs and hiring events, build relationships with educational institutions and workforce organizations, and contribute ideas to strengthen our recruitment practices. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on how we attract talent and build our teams as the company continues to grow.

  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications, experience, communication skills, and suitability for open positions.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather hiring manager feedback, and maintain clear, timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Build and maintain qualified candidate pipelines to support current openings and future workforce needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in career fairs, campus recruiting activities, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, workforce development organizations, and other recruitment partners.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records, track recruitment activity, and provide regular hiring updates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Support offer preparation, pre-employment activities, and improvements to sourcing strategies, recruitment processes, and candidate experience.
What You'll Need
  • At least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including direct sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple open positions, competing priorities, and recruitment timelines.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, evaluate candidates, and support hiring decisions.
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and other recruitment platforms.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, recruitment activities, and hiring documentation.
  • Strong interviewing, candidate evaluation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally for recruiting events, career fairs, and other business-related activities.

We recognize that experience and skills can come from different paths. Relevant professional, hands-on, educational, military, trade, and industry experience may all provide the skills and knowledge needed to succeed at DataOne.
