Job summary

UNKNOWN in Novi, MI is seeking a Recruiter responsible for reviewing applicants and selecting candidates who best match job criteria and advance to the next screening phase. The recruiter will coordinate the selection process, including phone, face-to-face or video interviews, and verbal and written assessments.

The role requires interviewing skills, knowledge of clerical and specialized functions, understanding of organizational structure and employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, General Business or similar.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience to include full cycle recruiting.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

Job description

The Recruiter is responsible for reviewing applicants and selecting those candidates that best match the job criteria and who will progress to the next screening phase. The professional recruiter will conduct and coordinate the appropriate selection process that may include phone, face to face or video interviews as well as verbal and written assessments for a wide variety of candidates.

This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
