Job summary

Yanfeng, a leading automotive interiors supplier, is seeking an experienced Recruiter in Novi, Michigan. You will review applicants, coordinate selection processes, and drive the full recruitment cycle from posting to onboarding.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in full-cycle recruiting, strong interviewing, and familiarity with automotive manufacturing environments. A Bachelor's degree in HR or General Business is required, with a preference for candidates who collaborate with hiring

Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for reviewing applicants and selecting those candidates that best match the job criteria and who will progress to the next screening phase. The professional recruiter will conduct and coordinate the appropriate selection process that may include phone, face to face or video interviews as well as verbal and written assessments for a wide variety of candidates.

This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

• Processes job requisitions.
• Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s).
• Acts as liaison with area employment agencies, recruiting vendors and advertising agencies.
• Screens and interviews applicants.
• Coordinates appropriate pre-employment onboarding activities
• Extends verbal and written job offers.
• Maintains employee referral program.
• Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of eonboarding forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.
• Completes weekly report on employment activity.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree Human Resources, General Business or similar
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience to include full cycle recruiting
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
