Job summary

Delta Precision Components LLC in Livonia, MI seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temporary/contract basis. Role combines full-cycle recruiting for skilled production and professional roles with strategic sourcing and collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three years hands-on recruiting experience, focus on skilled hourly and professional roles.
• Experience with diverse sourcing approaches including social media and referrals.
• Behavior-based interviewing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet; prior ATS experience, preferably Paycor Recruiting.

With over 40 years of stability and growth, Delta Precision Components LLC, and its’ divisions of Delta Gear and Delta Research is a manufacturer of advanced gears and machined elements for the automotive, defense and aerospace industry.

We are seeking an energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Livonia, Michigan. The position is Temporary/Contract.

THIS POSITION WILL BE minimum 2 days on-site in Livonia, Michigan and 3 days remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for skilled production and professional roles.
• Use various sourcing strategies, including social media, database mining, referrals and networking with professional organizations to identify talent
• Partner with hiring managers to understand needs and prepare sourcing strategies
• Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate candidate selection
• Create, send & receive offers, initiate & monitor pre-employment background checks and complete pre-boarding to day one
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the hiring process
• Represent the company at networking events
• Collaborate and partner with HR on projects related to Military, Apprentice and Intern Programs
• Complete special projects related to recruitment, continuous improvement and other HR areas

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least three (3) years hands-on recruiting experience, with primary focus on skilled hourly positions (CNC Machinists) and professional positions (Engineers, Program Managers, etc.)
• Proven success in utilizing a variety of sourcing approaches, including social media, database mining, referrals, and networking. Deep experience with passive sourcing strategies preferred.
• Must have experience with behavior-based interviewing
• Strong understanding of employment laws and recruiting best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet
• Must have prior experience with an ATS, preferably Paycor Recruiting
