Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience for non-exempt personnel preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Communication, Marketing or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead role intake with HR and hiring managers.
  • Manage requisitions in ATS ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Market open positions across channels to attract candidates.
  • Screen and present candidates who meet qualifications.

  • Establish employer brand as first point of contact and track progress.
  • Collaborate with HR and managers to inform targeted searches.
  • Lead role status updates with site and division leadership.
  • Build a pipeline for current and future needs.
  • Track metrics like time to fill, quality of hire, cost data.
  • Participate in projects like benchmarking and employer branding.

Job description

TheTalent Acquisition Specialistprovides the full range of recruiting and talent acquisition support to the business including sourcing and selection of qualified candidates for the assigned internal group. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support high-volume hourly recruiting and will perform some HR Generalist duties, as need to ensure a positive employee experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Engages the business to forecast current and future talent needs
  • Leads initial role intake with field HR and hiring managers
  • Manages requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Markets open positions through multiple channels to attract qualified candidates
  • Ensures candidates in process meet the qualifications for the position prior to presentation to hiring manager
  • Develops and maintains relationships with candidates through the selection process.
  • Establishes employer brand as the first point of contact and tracks candidates through the selection process.
  • Collaborates with field HR and hiring managers using feedback for targeted search efforts
  • Lead role status updates with site and division leadership
  • Build the pipeline of candidates who may be a fit for the organization now or in the future
  • Manages metrics such as time to fill, quality of hire, and costing data
  • May be engaged in projects such as benchmarking, university relations, employer branding, or related.
  • May perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Must possess strong communication skills and professionalism with individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Must have the ability to work independently and achieve individual/team goals

Required Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruiting for non-exempt personnel highly preferred.
Level of Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Communication, Marketing or related discipline preferred
