Lincoln Waste Solutions, powered by Reconomy, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Recruiting Specialist for Windsor, CT (or Toronto, Canada). You will source, attract, interview, and hire candidates to meet staffing goals while aligning with long-term business objectives.

The role requires 2–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, strong HR knowledge, exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, and proficiency with ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.

• Analytical skills, including data interpretation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and pipeline building: engage active and passive candidates via job boards, social media, events, and Boolean searches.
• Screening and assessment: review resumes, conduct phone/video interviews, evaluate qualifications and cultural fit; present candidates to hiring managers.
• Stakeholder management: partner with department managers to understand needs and guide structured interviews.
• Data tracking: use ATS to manage requisitions, track metrics, and ensure EEOC/compliance.
• Offer negotiation: present offers, negotiate salaries, communicate benefits, and close candidates.

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs while aligning with long-term business goals.

Talent Acquisition Specialists manages full-cycle recruiting, including identifying staffing needs, creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. The TA Specialist collaborates closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with company objectives.

This position can be located in either: Toronto, Canada or Windsor, Connecticut

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Responsibilities: Sourcing and Pipeline Building: find and engage active and passive candidates through channels like job boards, social media, networking events and Boolean searches.
• Recruitment: Screening and Assessment: Review resumes, conduct preliminary phone or video interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Formally present qualified candidates to hiring manager and hiring team. Represent the organization at job fairs and recruiting events.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with department managers to fully understand hiring needs, outline role requirements, and guide them through structured interviewing process.
• Data Tracking: Utilize Applicant Tracking System to manage requisitions, track hiring metrics and ensure compliance with EEOC and employment laws.
• Offer Negotiation: Present job offers, negotiate salaries, present benefit offerings and close candidates

• Standardized processes across business units, departments and acquisitions
• Successful implementation and sustainment of process improvements
