Job summary

Solar Dynamics in South Florida is seeking a hands-on Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for a fast-growing multi-division contractor. You will manage a high-volume pipeline, screen 15-20 candidates daily, and collaborate with division leads to fill roles across sales, roofing, electricians, and field labor.

You’ll conduct bilingual English/Spanish prescreens, extend offers, coordinate onboarding, and help build the people function from day one. A fast pace, practical impact, and ownership await.

Responsibilities

About the Role

You will own recruiting end-to-end for a company that hires constantly. This is a high-volume, hands-on sourcing role - not a corporate HR desk job. In a typical year you'll fill 15-25+ positions, many of them repeat hires, across:

• Sales representatives (entry-level and industry-experienced), including a door-to-door sales program launching soon
• Roofers and roofing crew members
• Licensed and apprentice electricians
• Traveling field labor for our renewable energy division

Between hiring pushes, you'll handle people coordination: onboarding paperwork, employee files, and workers' comp coordination.

Reporting line: you'll report directly to the company President while we build out the people function, transitioning to the HR Manager once that role is hired. You'll be the first dedicated hire in that function - real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

• Post, source, and keep a warm pipeline for our recurring roles - you'll run phone screens daily, not occasionally
• Conduct structured 15-minute prescreens in English and Spanish using our screening scripts and knockout criteria
• Coordinate interviews with division leads and keep candidates moving - no ghosting, no stalls
• Run our interview scorecard process and present decision-ready shortlists (top 2-3 candidates per role)
• Extend offers, run onboarding paperwork, and coordinate first-day logistics
• Track pipeline metrics: time-to-fill, source of hire, and 90-day retention
• Continuously improve our recruiting SOPs and job post templates

What You Bring (Requirements)

• 2+ years of high-volume recruiting - staffing agency, RPO, or in-house at a home services / construction / sales organization
• Fully bilingual English/Spanish (screens will be conducted in both - this will be tested in the interview)
• Experience recruiting blue-collar trades and/or sales roles
• Comfort with volume: 15-20 screening calls in a day doesn't scare you
• Organized and self-managing - you run the pipeline; nobody chases you for updates

Nice to Have

• Experience recruiting door-to-door or commission sales teams
• Familiarity with Indeed Employer tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and ATS or CRM-style pipeline tracking (we run on Monday.com)
• Basic HR administration exposure (onboarding, I-9/E-Verify, workers' comp coordination)

Compensation & Benefits

• 65,000 base, depending on experience
