Job summary

Cooper Machinery Services is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to recruit skilled tradespeople and technical talent for manufacturing facilities, shops, and field-service operations. You will partner with hiring managers, own full-cycle recruiting, and build relationships to keep work and culture aligned with future talent needs.

You will develop sourcing strategies through outreach, job fairs, trade schools, and digital platforms, while writing effective postings and maintaining candidate

Qualifications

• 3–5 years recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, field service or technical roles.
• Ability to build trust with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using multiple channels to source hard-to-reach talent.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers across manufacturing, shop, and field service to understand role requirements.
• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and hourly roles—sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers.
• Build real relationships with employees and leaders to stay connected to work, culture, and talent needs.
• Develop sourcing strategies via community outreach, job fairs, trade schools, and digital platforms.
• Write accurate job postings to reflect work and attract qualified candidates.
• Maintain candidate engagement from application through onboarding.
• Track recruiting activity, pipelines, and hiring metrics for workforce planning.
• Collaborate with HR on onboarding, workforce development, and retention initiatives.
• Represent Cooper professionally in every recruiting interaction.
• Help shape and improve recruiting processes as the HR function grows.
