State Affairs is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner (Recruiter) to join our team in Washington, DC. You will partner with hiring managers to translate business priorities into clear role requirements and then relentlessly source top-tier talent.

You will own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing through offers, ensuring a premium candidate experience and strong employer branding. Work in a fast-paced, start-up–like environment with competitive compensation and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional work experience in talent acquisition.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Ability to execute with detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with professional etiquette.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hiring managers to understand priorities, team structures, and role requirements.
• Relentlessly source and attract top-tier talent.
• Build talent intelligence: org charts, compensation benchmarks, and competitive insights.
• Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, offers, and closing.
• Sell the opportunity and position roles as career-defining opportunities.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience to strengthen employer brand.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene in Greenhouse and ensure data quality.
• Use analytics to track funnel performance and optimize speed and quality.
• Stay ahead of hiring trends and emerging talent pools.
