Job summary

New-Indy Containerboard seeks a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead recruiting for a world-class linerboard manufacturer. You will build talent pipelines, partner with HR leaders, and manage key hiring processes from intake to offers while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

You will leverage sourcing tools, stay current with labor market trends, and maintain compliance with laws and best practices, supporting diverse and inclusive hiring across facilities nationwide.

Position ScopeThe Talent Acquisition Partner leads the recruiting function for a worldclass 2000+ employee linerboard manufacturer. The role will develop a talent pipeline for critical roles across the organization. In addition, this role partners with business & HR leaders to develop and drive site-specific recruiting strategies.Essential FunctionsBuild and execute proactive sourcing strategies that identify, engage, and attract passive talent primarily in the areas of plant operations, engineering, and ITLeverage advanced sourcing tools (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, specialized networks, industry associations) to build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.Conduct initial phone screens that assess technical baseline, cultural alignment, and motivation to successfully convert prospects into active candidates.Partner directly with business-unit HR leaders to understand workforce needs, skill gaps, and local market constraints across different facilities.Serve as a subject matter expert on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and sourcing channels relevant to the critical roles.Maintain clear communication and recruitment metrics with HR partners to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment on open roles.Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, as needed, for select assigned positions, from intake through offer presentation.Ensure a high-touch, professional candidate experience that reflects the Company culture and brand.Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms to manage candidate data, generate reports, and analyze staffing metrics.Ensure that a company's hiring practices are inclusive and diverse and offer equal opportunities to all candidatesMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain complianceKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience finding passive technical talent within manufacturing, heavy-industry, or process-driven environments.Familiarity with engineering disciplines and industrial IT/OT environments.Proficiency in managing job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiations in an ATS.Ability to act as an advisor to internal HR leaders and fast-paced hiring managers.Strong cold-outreach and storytelling skills with ability to pitch the company’s value proposition.Comfortable shifting between high-touch headhunting for specialized roles managing routine requisition workflows.Ability to work closely with closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and provide strategic advice.Ability and interest to stay updated on industry trends.Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Possess an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and travel occasionally.Who is New-Indy Containerboard?Founded in 2012, New-Indy Containerboard is a joint venture of two successful, privately held companies, the Kraft Group (Boston) and Schwarz Partners (Indianapolis).We are a manufacturer of and supplier of containerboard and packaging.With 2,100 employees from Southern California to the coasts of the Carolinas, New-Indy plays an integral role in the everyday lives of people across the country and around the world through its innovative packaging solutions to serve the needs of every customer.We operate in 8 U.S. states and in Mexico, with 4 paper mills and 6 packaging companies.We focus on environmentally conscious manufacturing processes and facilities including 100% recycled fiber, co-generation power plants and waste-water treatment capabilities.Visit our website at www.newindycontainerboard.com.
