Job summary

CooperVision is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple sites, partnering with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to attract and hire qualified talent.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of recruiting experience, strong knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency in ATS/HRIS systems. A bilingual English/Spanish capability is required to support diverse candidate pools and regulatory compliance.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and provide guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience utilizing ATS, HRIS, recruiting platforms, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to leverage online sourcing tools, job boards, social media platforms, and professional networking sites to identify and attract talent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment lifecycle including requisitions, posting, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and onboarding support.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to define talent needs and recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals, networks, agencies and education institutions.
  • Maintain positive candidate experience with timely communication and professional engagement.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and reference checks; train managers on interviewing practices and compliance.
  • Maintain and update requisitions, candidate records, and ATS data with accuracy.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and labor market trends; advise on risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities with internal/external partners for a smooth process.
  • Represent CooperVision at career fairs and community events to strengthen pipelines.

Supports organizational staffing needs by managing full-cycle recruitment activities and partnering with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to attract, assess, and hire qualified talent. Ensures an effective candidate experience, compliance with recruitment processes, and achievement of hiring objectives.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition management, job posting, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer administration, and onboarding support.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand talent needs, define candidate requirements, and execute effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking, agencies, and educational institutions.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience through consistent communication, timely follow-up, and professional engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Coordinate and support the interview and selection process, including candidate assessments, interviews, and reference checks, while providing guidance and training to hiring managers on interviewing practices, recruitment procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update requisitions, candidate records, and recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics, talent market trends, and recruitment progress to identify risks, hiring challenges, and opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations, labor market insights, and strategic guidance to hiring managers and business leaders, while communicating recruitment activity, outcomes, and workforce trends to support effective hiring decisions and achievement of business objectives.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities with internal and external partners to support a seamless hiring process.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities to strengthen talent pipelines and employer branding.
  • Quality System Responsibilities
  • Complies with the Quality System Regulation (QSR).
  • Executes job responsibilities as established in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Follows the documentation procedures.
  • Completes training for the qualification and certification, as required, to execute the job.
  • Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Embraces, supports and aligns with corporate social responsibility policies while complying with applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations, procedures and corporate standards.
  • Notifies conditions, near misses, accidents and incidents including environmental, that occurred in site’s premises to prevent or eliminate any risk or exposure.
  • Communicates any process changes that may impact Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability aspects to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations including protection of people and the environment.
  • Promotes a safe and environmentally friendly workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, equal employment opportunity requirements, company policies, and recruitment procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, sourcing effectiveness, and overall talent acquisition performance by leveraging industry trends, labor market intelligence, recruitment technology, and talent acquisition best practices.

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer administration.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and supporting recruitment activities in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, medical devices, regulated, or multi-site environment preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
