Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including requisitions, ATS administration, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers, provide updates, and build talent pipelines via job boards, social media, colleges, and associations.
  • Assist onboarding to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
  • Coordinate training for managers and supervisors and ensure mandatory trainings are completed.
  • Administer workers' compensation processes and track injuries and claims.
  • Monitor OSHA compliance and prepare related reports for safety standards.

Job description

This position will play a key role in managing the full recruitment cycle, including managing job requisitions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and extending offers. The Recruiter will also foster relationships with colleges and professional associations, manage new hire orientation, mandatory training and benefits orientation. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates and new hires.

  • Recruitment Management: Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including open requisitions, ATS administration, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, and offer management.
  • Hiring Managers & Talent Pipeline Support: Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, provide guidance and updates, and build talent pipelines through job boards, social media, networking, colleges, universities, and professional associations.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist the HR Specialist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate training for managers and supervisors, some trainings through the e-Academy platform, ensuring that mandatory training is completed on time. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure compliance with all training requirements.
  • Workers Compensation: Administer the workers' compensation process, including reporting claims, managing communication with employees, insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. Track and document workplace injuries and claims
  • OSHA Reporting: Monitor compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Prepare and submit OSHA-related reports, and ensure that the workplace is in compliance with safety standards.
  • Benefits Administrator: Administer employee benefits by managing enrollments, benefit changes, and terminations, while providing timely support and assistance to employees with benefits-related questions and concerns.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in a corporate or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities effectively.
  • Experience conducting interviews, reviewing resumes, and screening candidates for job fit.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software systems.
