Job summary

Telligen in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a highly organized Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist to support a six-month period of growth. This temporary role helps attract, hire, and onboard talent across multiple business areas.

You will post jobs, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, manage onboarding and verify employment needs while ensuring a positive hiring experience and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and/or equivalent skills or experience.
• 0-3 years of experience in full-life cycle recruiting, preferably in the information technology or health care industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding employment and staffing practices
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruiting: post jobs, review applications, coordinate candidate communications, schedule interviews, and maintain ATS records.
• Partner with HR and hiring managers on screening, offers, onboarding logistics and lifecycle movement.
• Coordinate onboarding and compliance: background checks, employment verifications, pre-employment screenings, onboarding documentation, and tracking completion of new hire requirements.
• Maintain Telligen's positive image with candidates and the community as an employment brand ambassador.
• Assist with large-scale hiring initiatives and recruiting events while staying current on recruiting, onboarding, and employment trends.

Telligen is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Specialist to support a significant period of organizational growth. This temporary position plays a critical role in helping Telligen attract, hire, and onboard exceptional talent across multiple business areas and projects.

This position is expected to last approximately six months and may be extended based on business needs.

What you'll do:

• Supports full-cycle recruiting activities by posting jobs, reviewing candidate applications, coordinating candidate communications, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking system records. Delivers high-quality service to hiring managers and candidates while ensuring an exceptional hiring experience.
• Partners with Human Resources and hiring managers to facilitate the hiring process, including candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, offer communications, and onboarding logistics. Ensures timely movement of candidates through the recruiting lifecycle.
• Coordinates onboarding and compliance activities including background checks, employment verifications, required pre-employment screenings, onboarding documentation, and tracking completion of new hire requirements. Provides new employees with a positive introduction to Telligen's culture, benefits, and employee ownership philosophy.
• Establishes and maintains a positive image of Telligen with candidates and the community. Supports organizational mission, company culture, and growth initiatives while serving as an ambassador for the Telligen employment brand.
• Assists with large-scale hiring initiatives, workforce expansion projects, recruiting events, and special Human Resources projects while staying current on recruiting, onboarding, and employment trends.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and/or equivalent skills or experience
• 0-3 years of experience in full-life cycle recruiting, preferably in the information technology or health care industry
