Job summary

Lyric Opera of Chicago is seeking a Talent Management Associate to lead full-cycle recruitment for administrative roles across the organization, from entry-level to manager level, while guiding onboarding, data entry in ADP Workforce Now, and early-career development.

You will support partnerships, culture initiatives, and a robust internship program, ensuring equitable, values-driven processes that align with Lyric’s mission and education work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, arts administration, organizational development, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in recruitment, HR, or workforce development.
• Experience coordinating onboarding and HRIS data entry (ADP Workforce Now or similar).
• Experience supporting internship programs, campus recruiting, or early-career outreach.
• Familiarity with background checks, reference checks, and equitable hiring practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate full-cycle recruitment for entry-level to manager-level positions across administrative areas.
• Lead onboarding and ensure a welcoming, culture-aligned experience.
• Enter new hire information into ADP Workforce Now accurately.
• Develop and update onboarding/training materials for recruitment and onboarding.
• Document SOPs, checklists, and job aids for recruitment workflows.
• Maintain onboarding records and support audits and reporting.
• Oversee Lyric’s internship program and early-career development.
• Represent Lyric at career fairs and panels to build talent pipelines.
