Sun Valley Resort is seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager with a background in ski resort or seasonal operations to lead our recruitment efforts and help shape the future of our workforce. This role is pivotal in attracting high-quality talent across all departments—ensuring we deliver world-class service and unforgettable guest experiences throughout every season.
The ideal candidate brings strong hospitality industry knowledge, hands-on recruitment expertise, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in resort hiring, including seasonal ramp-ups and international work programs. Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage job postings across platforms, including resort websites, industry-specific boards, job fairs, and social media.
Collaborate with hiring managers to craft clear, compliant, and compelling job descriptions aligned with Sun Valley's employer brand.
Admin on the full cycle of recruitment within the UKG Recruiting platform, from application through onboarding paperwork.
Act as the point person for H-2B seasonal visa processes—including petitioning, compliance, onboarding, and offboarding.
Serve as a resource to job seekers, providing information about job opportunities, resort amenities, housing options, and employee benefits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably within a ski resort, seasonal, or hospitality environment.
Experience with international hiring programs (especially H-2B) strongly preferred.
Familiarity with UKG Recruiting or similar applicant tracking systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak periods as needed.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically for recruitment purposes.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
