Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Recruiting Intern to join its Human Resources team in Cincinnati. The role supports recruiters, schedules interviews, screens resumes, and contributes to recruiting initiatives and events.

The hybrid internship is based at our downtown Cincinnati headquarters. It is designed for a student who can work part-time during fall and spring semesters, with potential to transition to full-time hours in summer, onsite as required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree with interest in HR or recruiting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support a team of recruiters with day-to-day recruiting activities.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate logistics between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
• Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data in ATS.
• Assist with planning recruiting events, career fairs, intern programs, and interview days.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications and interest.
