Qualifications

  • Associate degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, or a related field.
  • At least two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, employment services, recruitment, HR operations, or a closely related area.
  • Experience using a human resources information system, applicant tracking system, or comparable workflow-based enterprise system to enter, review, or audit data and transactions.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies or procedures, maintaining confidential records, and providing service to employees, applicants, managers, or other customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work accurately, manage competing priorities, and meet time-sensitive deadlines with appropriate use of independent judgment and escalation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment activities from intake through closeout for assigned divisions; consult with hiring managers and search chairs on descriptions, plans, sourcing, screening, interviews, and policy requirements.
  • Create and manage positions, job requisitions, postings, candidates, and recruitment-related Workday processes; route approvals, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
  • Initiate, process, review, and audit Workday employee-lifecycle transactions and ensure accurate records.
  • Provide HR consultation and support to employees, applicants, managers, and supervisors with escalation when needed.
  • Develop SOPs, templates, and training materials for recruitment and Workday processes; support training and outreach for managers and teams.
