Job summary

The University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join the Talent Acquisition Centers of Excellence. You will guide and support recruitment and onboarding of new hires, coordinating from posting to onboarding, outreach, and networking to ensure a positive candidate experience.

This hybrid role requires two days in the Lawrence campus office and three days remote, with intensive in-person training during the first six weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus at least 2 years related work experience, or HS diploma/GED plus 6+ years related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Experience in building collaborative relationships.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Guides and supports recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
• Coordinates posting, outreach, and networking to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Audits recruitment plans and works with Compensation and HR partners on title and pay guidelines.
• Generates offer letters and manages background checks and compliance documentation.
• Supports onboarding team to ensure smooth new hire transition.
