Job summary

New Relic in Portland, OR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support our recruiting team and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

You will schedule interviews, maintain candidate data in our ATS, and collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, and cross-functional partners on process improvements. This is a detail‑oriented, organized role within a high‑performing TA team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service or corporate coordination, preferably recruiting.
  • Experience with scheduling and calendar management.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of HR practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and recruiters.
  • Provide timely candidate communications and host virtual or in-person interviews.
  • Advise recruiters on candidate experience best practices.
  • Maintain and update candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proactively communicate schedule changes to internal partners.
  • Support TA projects, events, and onboarding.
  • Assist with recruitment operations and offer audits.
  • Act as a brand ambassador aligned with company values.

Your opportunity

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruiting team and ensuring a positive and seamless candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive individual to be a part of a dynamic and high‑performing Talent Acquisition team. The ideal candidate will be the central hub for scheduling, communication, and administrative support throughout the hiring process.

What you'll do
  • Partner closely with the Regional Recruiting team to create a positive candidate experience for our prospects and applicants, continuously innovating and improving ways to differentiate us as an employer of choice
  • Coordinate all aspects of the interview experience from partnering with hiring managers and recruiters on scheduling, proactively and timely correspondence with candidates, and hosting candidates either virtually or in person to ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience
  • Advise recruiters and hiring managers on best practices for candidate experience, leveraging your knowledge and research.
  • Maintain and update candidate data accurately in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Proactively communicate with key internal partners, providing timely updates or changes to schedule or process improvements
  • Serve as a mentor or peer coach in solving unique situations or to support onboarding new team members
  • Collaborate and support the larger TA & People team on projects as needed
  • Support recruitment events, meet‑ups, and other talent branding and event needs
  • Conduct offer audits, manage req approvals, and assist with Jira tickets to support recruiting operations
  • Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating our values in all of your interactions
This role requires
  • 2+ years of experience in the customer service, coordination in a corporate environment preferably within the recruiting area
  • Prior scheduling & calendar management experience
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • General knowledge of HR practices
  • Ability to excel in independent work settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and utilize appropriate tact
Bonus points if you have
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing or HR role
  • Experience with Mac OS, Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse) and Google Suite

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of hourly pay for the listed position. This role may be eligible for the corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
