About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional, customized recruitment and consulting services to assigned clients. Combining recruitment expertise with a consultative approach, the Talent Acquisition Consultant enhances hiring processes, improves workforce planning, and ensures seamless project execution. This role also plays a key part in supporting M3’s strategic growth through cross-selling, upselling, and fostering long-term client relationships, all while exemplifying M3’s core values and commitment to service excellence. Fully remote within New York State.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO):
- Provide exceptional and individualized services for all RPO clients.
- In collaboration with VP of Talent Services, make recommendations for improvement to RPO processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflow and increase efficiency.
- Implement and advise clients on best practices for full life cycle recruiting activities, including ATS management, external job postings, job descriptions, interviewing, reference checks, and offer process.
- Develop and manage reporting for client talent acquisition projects.
- Facilitate regular status meetings with the project team and client.
- Maintain a knowledge base of client’s business, organization, and objectives. Stay up to date on industry trends relevant to the client.
- Lead intake calls at the start of projects with client leadership teams; onboard new clients and communicate all necessary details to internal teams for seamless execution.
- In partnership with VP of Talent Services, map out scope of work for client engagements.
Executive Search and Direct Placement:
- In collaboration with the VP of Executive Search & Direct Placement, lead direct placement and execute executive-level searches with precision and confidentiality.
- Lead intake calls at the start of projects with client leadership team. (CEO, VPHR, Head of Talent etc.). Responsible for fully onboarding new clients and communicating all necessary details to internal team.
- Work closely with clients in understanding specific qualifications for each position and matching top talent.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by facilitating regular meetings, providing thorough project updates, and delivering reports that exceed client expectations.
- Actively and strategically recruit new candidates through a variety of mechanisms including social and digital media, industry specific websites, job boards, professional associations, colleges and community events.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications and fit. Provide recommendations to clients both through highly effective written and oral communication.
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews, confirming details and sending reminders.
- Develop compelling candidate presentations for clients to showcase candidate qualifications and unique differentiators that best align with goals of the search.
- Treat candidates as clients, keeping them informed of their status and managing offer processes and negotiations as requested.
- Follow through on all client and opportunities in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience working in full life cycle recruitment with an emphasis on client facing duties.
- Operates independently, exercising discretion and judgement with client and candidate interactions and decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Microsoft Office Suite experience (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
