Join a fast-paced, high-impact talent team at a leading investment firm in Chicago. Our client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Business Partner who brings both strategic insight and hands-on recruiting expertise. This is not a traditional recruiting role, but an opportunity to be a true thought partner to firm leadership and hiring managers, helping shape the way the firm attracts and evaluates talent.

This is the perfect role for a proactive team player with a passion for recruiting. At least 10 years’ experience in corporate recruiting is a must, with direct sourcing experience required. Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers and senior leadership—guiding them on how to assess, attract, and select top-tier talent.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for 5–10 openings at a time across multiple departments.
  • Own and execute direct sourcing strategies, including proactive outreach to passive candidates via LinkedIn, industry networks, and professional associations.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to shape effective sourcing and interview strategies.
  • Lead internship recruitment strategies in partnership with business lines to attract emerging talent.
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the offer and negotiation process.
  • Leverage data and technology tools to track metrics, monitor diversity goals, and generate actionable insights around talent planning.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting—preferably within asset management, financial services, or professional services.
  • Strong sourcing skills and fluency in tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Greenhouse (or equivalent ATS).
  • A proven ability to engage passive candidates and build meaningful talent pipelines.
  • Executive-level presence and exceptional communication skills—able to influence, advise, and drive change at all levels of the organization.
  • A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset with a high degree of emotional intelligence, integrity, and discretion.
  • Experience driving process improvements and incorporating automation and data-driven decision-making into talent operations.

Salary: $145,000-$155,000 based on experience, plus bonus & profit sharing
