About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor / Recruiter to join a team of seven recruiters supporting the recruitment of STEM and technical talent across a variety of disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle recruiting and proactive sourcing experience, with the ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with both active and passive candidates. A LinkedIn Recruiter license will be provided, and the successful candidate will be expected to actively build talent pipelines rather than rely solely on job applicants.
The recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers, HR professionals, and business leaders to develop effective recruiting strategies and deliver an excellent candidate and hiring-manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruiting strategies.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, selection, offer presentation/negotiation, and preliminary onboarding.
- Proactively source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Develop inclusive candidate pools and identify new sourcing channels.
- Conduct thorough candidate prescreens and present high-quality candidates to hiring managers.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide recruiting updates and ensure a positive candidate and hiring-manager experience.
- Collaborate with HR partners and hiring managers to develop clear, marketable job descriptions and appropriate qualifications.
- Identify recruiting challenges and recommend creative, business-focused solutions.
- Support recruiting strategies, process improvements, and best-practice initiatives.
- Maintain accurate recruiting documentation and ensure processes are conducted in a consistent, values-based, and compliant manner.
- Stay current on applicable employment and recruiting regulations.
- Participate in career fairs, community outreach, recruiting events, and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Support projects designed to improve recruiting processes and sourcing effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 3+ years of professional recruiting experience.
- Full-cycle/end-to-end recruiting experience.
- Strong candidate sourcing and pipeline-building skills.
- Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, networking, and consultation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and functional areas.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in St. Louis, MO.
