Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, is hiring in Palmdale, CA for an hourly, non-exempt role. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour plus tips, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

As an Outbacker you will deliver memorable guest experiences, work with a team, handle orders and payments, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Flexible scheduling, paid sick leave, and ACA-compliant health benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
• California: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
• Uses food and beverage menu knowledge to share favorites and provide recommendations.
• Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner.
• Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise, ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled.
• Accurately processes orders, accepts payment in a friendly and timely manner, anticipates guests needs while ensuring each order is complete and correct.
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
