Job summary

Peraton is seeking a TAK Engineer/SYS Administrator to deploy and sustain TAK Server environments (RHEL/Windows) across NIPR/SIPR and cloud infrastructures. You will support ATAK/WinTAK clients, implement RMF-aligned controls, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams.

Ideal candidates have DoD IAT II certification, DoD TS/SCI clearance, and extensive Windows/Linux administration experience within DoD networks. Camp H.M. Smith, HI, on-site position with ongoing OPS support.

Qualifications

• DoD IAT Level II certification required.
• DoD TS/SCI Clearance required.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux systems in DoD enterprise environments.
• System hardening and patch management experience.
• PowerShell scripting for automation advised.
• TAK Server deployment experience highly desirable.
• RMF compliance and STIG implementation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, configure, and sustain TAK Server environments across multiple networks.
• Deploy ATAK/WinTAK clients and manage certificates.
• Support RMF processes, STIGs, and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with containerized TAK deployments and Kubernetes architectures.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity for firewall rules and RMF controls.
• Provide technical support for complex operational exercises.
