Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance at Camp H.M. Smith, HI. You will help provide NetOps, TAK server services, and secure deployments for both classified and unclassified networks.

The role involves deploying TAK Server environments across NIPR/SIPR/AWS, supporting ATAK/WinTAK/TAK, patching, STIGs, and automation. DoD IAT II and TS/SCI clearances are required, with strong Linux/Windows expertise.

Qualifications

• DoD IAT Level II certification required.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems in DoD environments.
• RMF/STIG compliance experience.
• TAK Server deployment experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, configure, and sustain TAK Server environments across NIPR, SIPR, IL6 (Azure), and AWS.
• Deploy and support ATAK, WinTAK, and WebTAK clients with provisioning and certificates.
• Support RHEL upgrades, patching, STIG implementation, and vulnerability remediation.
• Assist with containerized TAK deployments and Kubernetes under senior oversight.
• Coordinate with Government to understand requirements and evaluate solutions.
• Engineer host environments for complex operational databases and system interfaces.
• Maintain file servers and network access; document and troubleshoot anomalies.
• Install, configure, and sustain tactical application servers across environments.
• Coordinate firewall rules and RMF-aligned security controls.
• Provide technical support for integration events, cloud deployments, and connectivity.
