Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the SITEC-3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance contract, located at Camp H. M. Smith, HI. The role covers deploying TAK Server environments, configuring TAK/ATAK clients, and providing ongoing support across secure networks.

You will coordinate with Government stakeholders, implement RMF controls, and help maintain complex systems spanning classified and unclassified environments. DoD IAT II certification and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• HS + 12 years of experience OR AS with 10 years of experience OR BS + 8 years of experience OR MS + 6 years of experience
• DoD IAT Level II certification
• DoD TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience administering Windows and/or Linux systems within DoD enterprise environments, including SIPRNET and NIPRNET
• Working knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including system hardening and patch management
• Experience deploying and sustaining TAK Server environments and supporting ATAK/WinTAK tactical mobility platforms
• Experience supporting RMF processes, STIG implementation, and DoD cybersecurity compliance requirements
• Ability to develop and modify PowerShell scripts for administrative automation

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, configure, and sustain TAK Server environments across multiple networks and infrastructures
• Deploy and support ATAK, WinTAK, and WebTAK clients, including secure device provisioning and certificate management
• Support lifecycle management: RHEL upgrades, patching, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation
• Assist with containerized TAK deployments and Kubernetes-based architectures under senior technical oversight
• Collaborate with Government to understand requirements and evaluate technical solutions
• Engineer host environments to support complex operational databases and system interfaces
• Maintain file servers, network access, and troubleshoot systems anomalies for optimum performance
• Install, configure, and sustain tactical application servers across classified and unclassified environments
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams to implement firewall rules and RMF-aligned security controls
• Provide technical support for integration events and operational exercises including cloud deployments
