Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Tailor/Fitter in Los Angeles to measure customers, fit garments, and complete alterations with precision and speed.

You will deliver exceptional service, meet department productivity goals, and collaborate with the Alterations & Store Team to manage customer needs using store technology. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of fitting/tailoring and sewing experience.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery.
• Flexible working schedule based on business needs

Responsabilités

• Measure customers for size and alter garments as needed.
• Perform fittings and sewing alterations in a timely manner.
• Meet productivity goals while following Nordstrom processes.
• Use store technology to manage and organize customer alteration requests.
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction and trend
