Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. in King George, VA is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our on-site team supporting TTWCS software testing across configurations. The role involves lab testing, data analysis, and coordination with government personnel and testers.

The candidate must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, US Citizenship, and a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent military experience. Travel is optional and on-site work is required at Dahlgren and NSWC Dahlgren.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science from an accredited university in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics field of study, or military operational experience as TTWCS Operator and Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and across multiple builds in a lab setting.
• Document pertinent information in lab logs; modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, equipment, simulators, and network configurations in a dynamic environment.
• Perform data analysis of test output; identify and develop data extraction and data reduction elements to aid in requirement verification.
• Document system problems by creating CR/PR; verify software fixes for CR/PR resolution.
• Develop new test procedures and modify existing ones to verify requirements and system functionality.
• Conduct peer reviews of test procedures; develop and maintain TVMs; generate test plans and reports.
• Communicate testing event summaries verbally and in writing, including technical briefs and data defense; report to management on test initiatives and issues.
