Job summary

TCS GOVCON is seeking a Mobility Field Service Rep in Camp Pendleton, CA to support field maintenance, training, and operations for Naval NSWC Crane tasking. The role covers identifying and replacing components, testing, and maintaining vehicle systems across electrical, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electronics.

Candidates need an Associate degree or 5 years of relevant military wheeled-vehicle experience, ability to obtain Secret clearance, US citizenship, valid driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• Associate degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in integration, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance for military wheeled vehicles.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Flexible work schedule including extended or weekend hours, sometimes on short notice, including holidays
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Experience in Field Level Maintenance New Equipment Training for LTV platforms
• Formally trained mechanic through Military or Postsecondary education
• Must be able to obtain DD 346 (Motor Vehicle Operator's Identification Card)
• Adherence to safety protocols
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
• Ability to use hand, power-driven, and specialty tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to install mounts, brackets, cables, connectors, electronics, and labels
• Ability to annotate and modify documentation into databases
• Ability to perform quality repairs promptly
• Maintain serialized parts inventory and warranty tracking
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Passport and travel readiness up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Identify and replace components and conduct functional tests; document maintenance and inspection actions; review technical docs for maintenance requirements; implement service advisories and suggest improvements to equipment.
• Support all vehicle systems including electrical, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electronics; perform repairs and maintenance across platforms.
