Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. seeks a Tactical SIGINT Systems Engineer Level 2 to support triage, analysis, and requirements refinement for COMINT/ELINT/FISINT across military mobile platforms. Responsible for leading design, architecture development, system integration, and lifecycle support, with strong emphasis on JCIDS artifacts and FRDs.

The role requires active security clearance and U.S. citizenship, with extensive experience in tactical SIGINT and related engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• 14 years of experience as a Tactical SIGINT Systems Engineer on military platforms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, SIGINT, RF Engineering, CS, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) additional years of relevant systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Triage and analyze tactical SIGINT requirements, CONOPS, and data flow architectures to define system requirements.
• Lead industry system design, architecture development, and system integration activities across the lifecycle.
• Guide requirements engineering and support development of FRDs, ICDs, specs, and JCIDS artifacts.
• Review and evaluate tactical sensor documentation, KPIs, white papers, test plans, and CAPSTONE criteria.
• Coordinate multinational and multi‑office technical efforts to resolve capability and system issues.
• Develop and evaluate system concepts, architectures, and design solutions with risk/feasibility assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication across testing, implementation, and sustainment.
• Assist U.S. Government in leading foreign partner sensor projects from kickoff through delivery.
