Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design, operate, and sustain mission-critical RF and SIGINT collection environments. The role spans distributed systems across hybrid Linux/Windows infrastructures, using platforms such as DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, and FORNSAT throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have 14+ years of systems engineering experience on complex programs, a related STEM degree, and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

14 years of demonstrated systems engineering experience on large-scale programs.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; an additional 5 years of experience may substitute the degree.
Security clearance requirements and DoD 8570 certification expectations.

Responsibilities

Operate Linux- and Windows-based systems for RF and SIGINT missions, including deployment and troubleshooting.
Translate CONOPS and designs into technical specifications and system requirements.
Architect end-to-end solutions across hardware, software, and networking using DoDAF-aligned principles.
Document system plans, interfaces, and requirements traceability.
Support integration, test, verification, and accreditation activities for complex platforms.
Provide senior technical guidance during design reviews and program discussions.
Collaborate with Government customers to resolve challenges and manage system risk.
