GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Guard!

Requirements:

• At least four to six years of security experience
• 21+ years of age
• Baton permit, OC spray permit, and handcuff permit
• Ability to provide an up-to-date security resume

Key qualities include the ability to read the environment, anticipate risks, and act accordingly. Physical ability is essential for patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

• Full-time schedule: 32 hours/week, Wednesday/Thursday 6:00am - 3:00pm; Friday/Saturday 3:00pm - 12:00am

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and reporting activity at your assigned location
• Patrolling indoor and outdoor environments
• Responding rapidly to critical situations
• Writing detailed reports
• Enforcing procedures, regulations, and standards
• Spotting suspicious activity
• Reacting to threats or incidents
• Detaining and searching individuals
• Documenting incidents and actions
• Responding to alarms and conducting checks
• Collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensuring safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications:

• State security license and 32-hour BSIS security training
• HS Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Must have permits: baton, OC spray, handcuffs
• Ability to pass extensive screening
• First aid certification is a plus
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
