Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer with a flexible schedule in the Greater Silicon Valley area of California. You will patrol varied environments, read environments, report on activity, and respond rapidly to incidents while enforcing procedures and safeguarding people and property.

The role requires at least five years of security experience, a BSIS Guard Card, and state-required permits ().

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• State BSIS Guard Card and 32hr BSIS trainings required (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum five years of security experience.
• 21+ years of age.
• Baton permit, OC spray permit, and handcuff permit required.
• Willing to commute to multiple Silicon Valley sites.

Responsibilities

• Observe the area and report activity at the assigned location.
• Work indoors and outdoors in variable environments.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports accurately.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and detain/search as needed.
• Document incidents and actions taken; respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
